Last week it was affordable blue wedding dresses and this week it's pink. A lot of celebrities have been rocking pink wedding dresses recently. Gwen Stefani started the trend with her dip dyed pink wedding dress.
Portia De Rossi followed up with a subtle pink wedding dress in her wedding to Ellen Degeneres.
More recently Jessica Biel and Kaley Cuoco have worn pink gowns for their special day.
I've got to admit, the thought of pink wedding dresses used to make me cringe; they were a bit too Katie Price for me. But I've discovered some that are lovely and don't have that cupcake look about them. Plus, they're all affordable and below £200.
Candlelit Soiree Dress - ModCloth
This lovely lace dress from ModCloth has a very subtle pink blush to it; so you can have a touch of pink without going over the top. It has a classic cut with a vintage thirties feel.
I also love the subtle detailing. This is a very elegant dress that would be perfect for a wedding.
Forever Unique Sweetheart Maxi Dress with Off Shoulder - Asos
This pink Asos maxi dress packs more of a punch than the ModCloth one; it's ideal for real pink lovers. It combines a traditional, Grecian style with a modern bold colour. It's also super flattering; flowing over all your lumps and bumps.
Nude Blush Vintage-Inspired 1920s Wedding Dress - Etsy
This beautiful blush maxi dress is handmade by Etsy seller GatsbyLady. As her name suggests she creates 1920s-style dresses that are ideal for weddings. This dress features a flattering cut with a floaty, polka-dot skirt and a fitted bodice.
I particularly love the beaded detail.
Duchess Satin Bow Back Prom Dress - Topshop
This is for anyone looking for a short pink wedding dress. The Topshop dress is crafted from soft, baby pink duchess satin and has a fifties style.
The back is the best part with the three bows. It's feminine and cute but not in a way that would make you through up your wedding cake.
Jane & Hudson Embroidered Maxi Dress - Nordstrom
I think this embroidered dress is probably my favourite of all the pink wedding dresses. I love the prairie style of it, yet it's still very elegant. It could be dressed up or down and is perfect for a garden wedding.
That's all for this week. Next week it's red wedding dresses.
