If I Were A Rich (Wo)Man: Old Hollywood Glamour

Ginger Rogers

This week's wishlist is based on old Hollywood glamour.

Why? Why the hell not? Sometimes we need a bit of glamour in our lives and the ladies of the Golden Age of Hollywood, like Ginger Rogers up there, did it properly.

The Dress

Slinky and sexy yet classic, this Giselle Dress from Ghost is just beautiful.

I love the side buttons and the sleeves. Plus it has an unexpected open back.

It's dye-to-order so there are several colour options, the emerald is my favourite.
£195.

The Bag

You've got to have a clutch bag if you're doing Hollywood glamour. I like this double layered Calli Cut-Out Bag from Coast, simple yet interesting.

The Necklace

Pearls are a statement Hollywood look, especially when combined with a detailed clasp. This Gold Filled Silver Flower Pearl Necklace by Neha from Boticca is a classic example.

The layers and the gold and white really work together. £384 though, way out of my budget.

The Shoes

God, I love these Mae West shoes by Charlotte Olympia. They feature an image of the Hollywood siren herself.

I'm not usually one to go gooey over footwear but this side view is divine.

They're £795 a pair though, almost two months rent. Are shoes worth becoming homeless for? Maybe.
