My last Tattoo Trends post was about
rose designs, while researching it I found a lot of other floral tattoos that I wanted to share with you.
Flowers and plants are one of the most popular tattoo themes and they have been featured in designs since the beginnings of body art.
They represent nature and getting back to your roots. Plus, different flowers have different meanings and are often picked to symbolise loved ones.
Nowadays, floral tattoos are most often seen on women, as they're considered more 'feminine,' but men have been getting floral art for decades too, usually as a way to represent a woman.
Here are a few of my favourite floral designs, fitting for this lovely Spring weather and all the plants cropping up!
I particularly like the vintage style black and white floral tattoos that are cropping up at the moment, they look like ink drawings.
Also, water colour flower designs look great and make a change to the traditional style of tattoo.
That's all folks.
